Dead By Daylight is My Object of Obsession.
So you can expect A lot of that sort of stuff.

"And as a matter of fact... it was."
Detective Tapp… well… he’s very driven. I have only been in a few trials with him… and I can say that he is certainly a good man; He does his best to make sure we live, but he tends to run into the middle of danger. And I don’t mean that as to be insulting… but there have been times where it was just better not to intervene… at least not immediately. It’s horrible and depressing. But sometimes there’s just no way to help someone until the time is right. And Detective Tapp can be… impatient. More so than David… uhm… David King, even. He’s very stern about everything, very on-edge. We all are of course… but he’s always got his mind elsewhere. His eyes searching for answers in the campfire… even though they’ve long since burned to nothingness in the embers. When we’re in a trial together, his skills as a detective have come in handy, and saved our skins multiple times… but he’ll sometimes lose his edge and try to beat the killer at their own game… It’s even worse whenever we’re up against The Pig. He says he knows exactly who she is… that he’d kill her himself if he could. And he has certainly tried… … It didn’t end well. For any of us. And sometimes he’ll just disappear for hours between trials… Sometimes we see him, pacing the woods, muttering about things only he shares with the fog, sometimes sulking about how things had gone during a trial.
He’s a good man. But… he seems like he’s especially attached to the world we’ve all been torn from… It’s a constant struggle on all of us… not being home, not seeing our family’s and loved ones… but for him, it seems to be a constant looming spiral, slowly constricting him and growing tighter and tighter. He’ll also become hyper focused and sort of shut us out, especially between trials when he goes off into the woods; it can be very intimidating.
It’s like I said, He can get reckless at the worst of times… and being a hero can have some major consequences… something he has yet to realize.

The Ask I just answered on Laurie’s page includes a tidbit of my head canon regarding The Shape and Laurie! If ya want, you can follow the link to learn about her predicament. I’ll be updating my own take on headcanons every so often! https://ask-dbd-laurie-strode.tumblr.com/ In the meantime, here’s an aggressively confident Laurie:
Hey guys, since its been a little bit, I thought I’d post a small teaser for my next answer foe my ask-dbd-laurie-strode account. Let’s just say, not everyone is a team player…
The newest ask is out @ask-dbd-laurie-strode I actually wanted to write a whole freaking chapter of stuff for it, but I realized I could just write it into a fanfiction later XD Anyways, there ya go (:
Krueger… he is something born of pure, concentrated perversity. Quentin fought him off and damned him to be here… for good reasons. He was an unstoppable monster. Willing to…to hurt children; innocent kids… and he deserved what he got in return. The fact that he came back to punish those kids… Quentin included… he is remorseless. He is… a parasite. A horrible… disgusting monster for what he had done. Before and after his death. Even here… even in his prison, he still holds Quentin responsible for everything. Relishing in tormenting him, slowly dragging his knives across Quentin… It’s awful. It’s awful and it’s sick that after all that struggling, Quentin still cannot rest. Not now or ever. I have had many run-ins with him… he’s almost completely immune to my ‘perks’ and they often become instruments of my undoing; I can’t see him, but he can see me if I make one wrong move… and he tends to really focus on me. My problems with Krueger most likely were born out of “The Obsession” the Entity put over me… though… Quentin was pretty honest about… about that creep’s reasons for hunting me down so… fervently. Both of them… both Quentin and That man have told me that I am like her. Not exactly… but I have something about me that she had as well… A reminder of what he can never have. A substitute for his loathsome fantasies. He’s a disgusting, vile demon. More-so than even the most depraved of the monsters that crawl within the mist.
The “Legion…” They are… definitely unique in a lot of ways… For instance, during matches, The Obsession gives me more than just the insight of whichever member of their gang is killing us; It feels like their personalities and thoughts are all crammed together into one body, sometimes surging up during a direct confrontation as though to help their comrade appear more intimidating… it can be very disorientating… and it usually distracts me and makes it easier for them to get the drop on me even with the aid of my “perks.” The Legion are also more human… like The Pig. They aren’t unnaturally tall, or particularly supernatural… except for when they start sprinting. Somehow they know where everyone is hiding the second they attack one of us… so we’re forced to spread out. Personality-wise… its hard to fully understand and discern what emotions belong to who… it doesn’t really matter… they all are united in their cause. They all do the Entity’s dirty work. I call them they… because it honestly feels like they are always in a group, even when only one is actually present… the other survivors have even felt it. A sort of pack-mentality coming from the masked gang members. It’s almost disarming in a way, just seeing these people, barely different from the rest of us, but so willing to carry the orders of the monstrous entity… I’ve also seen their faces. Both in-trial on the off chance they want to show off a “game-face”, as well as that Photo that sometimes gets conjured from our Bloodwebs… it’s easy to recognize their hoodies; they look barely older than Me… they might even be a little younger given their overall demeanor. I think that’s what makes them even worse than some of the really monstrous killers… they really are the same as the rest of us survivors… they’ve just chosen to take darker path.
But… It seems like there is four different people… somehow occupying the same space yet able to interchange? I don’t know what the Entity did to make them like that, but I do know they seem to be four people all in one body. My first Trial with them, they were walking around as “Joey.” I was caught off guard completely because, I saw their Aura and I swore it was a survivor… but the color was pink, not yellow. And They had a predatory gait to their walk. They had stabbed Jake, and immediately turned and ran to me, even though I was well out of sight. I was able to outrun them for a bit, but… sooner or later they caught up. Soon, “Joey,” As he later identified himself as, caught up to me, and I was running around, trying to keep my insides from being “outsides.” Before I knew it… The gates were powered, and I was the last one in the Trial. Joey was still hunting me down. The others had escaped… but I was barely able to keep myself together… I couldn’t run any longer. I felt numb all over… … I collapsed. The dull throb of my leaking intestines and sliced flesh finally cementing me to the ground. He made a big show of it… it was honestly infuriating, having to just sit there as he sauntered over. His horribly bright eyes, gleaming with pride behind that dirty rag painted with that crude death’s face. I remember him kneeling down, mocking me as I tried desperately to keep his hands from probing my entrails like a child poking at garbage with a stick… ’Hey lil’ blue bird, c’mon why don’t ya give me a song, uh?’ I could feel outrage as well as thick bile rising in my throat as the pain and nausea of it all became overwhelming… worse yet was the sensation of all the others... all the jeering, cajoling personalities of his Fellow Legion pressing in at all sides, trying to worm their way in for front row seats. ‘Make her squeal, Joey!’ ‘Wish I could do it myself, keep your hands nice and steady, savor it!’ ‘First kill, Joe, do us proud!’ I don’t know if it was the pressure… but ‘Joey’ seemed to actually be hesitant despite his previous smugness… I was the last one… And I was now certain he had brought in one of those Skull necklaces… just to kill me personally. He wasn;t talking anymore… but his friends were like a buzz of angry hornets.
‘What are you waiting for? Stick that fucking bitch!’ ‘Helllooooo…. geez…do you need me to step in? ‘Fuckin’ rest it Sooz…Don’t puss out, man…’ ‘…’ I could almost hear their voices… almost like the how the Entity whispers just out of audible range… they were a presence… encompassing ‘Joey’ with their maddening shroud. He was breathing harder and harder… He was scared. Maybe he was Uncomfortable with killing? Kind of bizarre… but The Obsession does effect each Killer differently. Maiming me was fine, but actually killing was apparently where he drew the line I guess. I wasn’t going to make it no matter what. But I refused to back down, I looked him in the eyes, and with what strength I could muster, I slowly stood, my hands slick with the pulsing heat of blood and my own raw organs. I didn’t say anything… but I stared at him. His eyes looking into mine. All the confidence, the bravado earlier… it was withering away as I nearly matched him in height. ‘…’ I almost felt like I could see another pair of hands taking his own, sternly guiding his strange, curved Blade towards my throat and slicing the artery in one clear motion. I have been away for a while. Mostly due to life reasons as well as working on very, painfully slow projects. Lately, the only truly consistent thing in my life is DBD, which may sound goofy, but I enjoy the game greatly. With this in mind, I may start trying to create more fanwork alongside my personal stuff. A small preview is this:
Riveting stuff, eh? It’s not too crazy, but I also want to make more Original characters for fun. Anywho, I hope those who stuck by me find some joy in me not just turning into emulsified mush completely, and to any newcomers that I meet along the way, see you in the fog!
